01 / A connected construction operation

Give every project
a place to come together.

A drawing revision, a material delivery, an unanswered RFI and a change awaiting approval all affect the job. FieldLine brings these records into the project workspace so the next decision starts with the right context.

Plan with purpose

Know the work ahead.

Projects, task assignments, punch items and schedules make the work visible. Follow dependencies and deadlines alongside the people responsible for delivery.

Coordinate decisions

Keep the details together.

Purchase orders, changes, RFIs, submittals, drawings and project conversations give the office and site a shared record to return to.

See the cost context

Understand what is recorded.

Review approved labor and expenses, pending entries and remaining purchasing commitments. Keep project currencies distinct and export financial records.

The foundation / Project context

A clearer project.
A connected team.

Give each job its own identity, team, dates, budget and documents. Move from the company view into a specific project, then work with the records that belong to it.

  • Start with the job. Organize project codes, locations, status and planned dates.
  • Put responsibility in place. Project membership and role permissions determine who can see and act on the work.
  • Keep the office informed. Review task progress and return to the same project for its decisions, field reports and financial context.
Screen 02 / 18Desktop browser

A construction platform should support your operation for the long run. FieldLine starts with a one-time licence and a company-operated deployment.

02 / Plan & coordinate

Turn the plan
into accountable work.

Make assignments clear before crews arrive on site. FieldLine connects task ownership, punch work, priorities and progress with the project’s schedule and supporting records.

From a task list to a working picture.

The board separates work that is ready, active, blocked or complete. Open an item for its project context, assignment and progress instead of relying on a status update buried in a message.

  • Tasks and punch items. Organize planned work and deficiencies in the same workspace.
  • Ownership and deadlines. See assigned people, due dates, priorities and completion.
  • Board or list. Review work in the format that suits the conversation.

Programme control / Built into the project

Plan the sequence.
See what drives the date.

FieldLine’s Schedule workspace supports structured construction programmes with WBS, milestones, dependencies, working calendars, constraints and critical path. Review your plan, then keep it with the project.

Bring your existing plan.

Import MPP, Project XML, Excel or CSV through a review preview. Check the result before saving it as the project programme.

Review the impact of a change.

Use dependencies, working calendars and baselines to inspect the plan. Export Excel or calendar information for the next coordination meeting.

Imported plans require review. Schedule planning and field-task dates remain distinct records; support for MPP imports does not establish complete Microsoft Project compatibility.

03 / Commercial coordination

Put purchasing and changes
on the project record.

Keep quantities, commitments and scope decisions visible while work moves forward. Purchasing and change workflows give the team something more useful than a disconnected spreadsheet or an untracked request.

Know what was ordered.

Review the supplier, line items, tax, cost code and required date. Record received quantities against the order so the purchasing record can follow the delivery.

Keep scope decisions visible.

Document the change, proposed amount and schedule allowance. Follow its status through review and the relevant owner decision instead of losing the record between teams.

Technical coordination / Questions & reviews

Ask clearly.
Keep the decision with the job.

Technical questions and submittal reviews need a responsible person, a date and a record. FieldLine keeps the request and its review context in the project workspace.

RFIs that stay connected.

Record what needs clarification, assign the requested reviewer and set the answer due date. Return to the question and its official answer when the team needs the decision.

04 / On site

Make the day’s work
a record you can use.

What happened on site should help the next person understand the job. FieldLine brings daily reporting, safety observations, time, expenses and documents into the project workflow.

A daily report with real context.

Record crew numbers and hours, observed weather, completed work, deliveries and blockers. Submit the day’s account for review while the details are still fresh.

Project financial context

Know the actuals.
See the commitments.

A purchase order, an expense awaiting approval and an approved timesheet are different kinds of cost information. FieldLine keeps those distinctions visible.

  • Recorded time and expenses. Review submitted entries and the applicable approval workflow.
  • Actuals and purchasing. Separate approved costs, pending entries and remaining PO commitments.
  • Keep currencies clear. Project totals retain their currency instead of silently combining CAD and USD.
  • Take the record further. Export financial and project records as CSV for additional review.

Operational cost reporting supports your finance process. It does not replace a complete accounting ledger or payroll system.

Drawings & documents / More than a file list

Put the details
in the team’s hands.

FieldLine connects document access, drawing review and company-branded records with the project. Your teams can return to the source material and the discussion surrounding the work.

Drawing workspace

Review the issued sheet.

Work with PDF or image drawings, revisions, shared team markups, discussion replies, mentions and photo pins. Preserve the issued source while recording the team’s review.

Measurement tools

Measure with sheet context.

Use calibrated length, area, perimeter, angle, volume and count tools. Calibration follows the drawing’s revision and page so measurements have an explicit reference.

Company documents

Make the output yours.

Company name, logo and theme feed PDF headers and document templates. Prepare project, commercial, safety and quality records with consistent company presentation.

32 templates. A better starting point.

Choose from project briefs, purchase orders, RFIs, site reports, toolbox talks, inspection records and more. Fill in the details and prepare a company-branded PDF.

Project conversations / Saved with the work

Keep the conversation
within reach.

Use project-team, owner and direct discussions for the updates that matter. Read a saved message and continue the conversation while keeping the project context nearby.

  • Team coordination. Keep site instructions and updates in a conversation people can return to.
  • Owner discussions. Support the review conversation around owner-visible work and decisions.
  • Teams connection. Meeting links and calendar export support coordination; project notifications use an IT-configured Workflows endpoint.

Plan the job, coordinate records and work through the commercial and project decisions permitted by each role.

Superintendents & employees

Follow field work, record the day, submit site information and work with the assignments available to the account.

Project contractors

Project QR entry and scoped login support issued contractor drawings, collaboration and the contractor’s own safety submissions.

Is FieldLine really subscription-free?

Yes. The listed enterprise package is a one-time software licence. EMPHOS does not bill a recurring monthly, annual or per-user software licence fee for the delivered package. Your company still supplies its hosting, IT operation and any provider services it uses.

Why are the following years shown as $0?

FieldLine’s licence is paid once in Year 1. The table shows charges in each individual listed year, so Years 3 and 5 show $0 recurring software licence fees. The calculator separately compares cumulative three-year software spend.

Which package should we choose?

Choose the $2,999.99 enterprise licence when your IT team or existing IT partner is handling deployment. Choose the $6,999.99 complete package when you want EMPHOS to coordinate a qualified installation partner for the agreed engagement.

Does every person get the same access?

No. Administrators, project managers, coordinators, superintendents, employees, owners, accounting users and contractors have defined responsibilities. Server permissions and project scope determine the records and actions available to each account.

Can we bring an existing schedule?

The Schedule workspace supports reviewed imports from MPP, Project XML, Excel and CSV. It includes structured activities, dependencies, working calendars, baselines, critical path and resource tools. Check imported plans before using them; complete Microsoft Project compatibility is not implied.

What do we receive for desktop and mobile?

The delivery includes Windows desktop and responsive browser access, with Construction and Contractor Android projects and build materials. Your organization completes production signing, distribution and device acceptance. iPhone/iPad release requires a Mac and your Apple signing team.

Do we need our own server and IT team?

Yes. FieldLine is a company-operated platform. Your organization selects and runs the host, approved HTTPS route, backups and access policy. The Professional Install package coordinates the agreed setup work; ongoing operation remains with your organization unless separately agreed.

Are these screenshots of the actual software?

Yes. All 18 screenshots appear directly in the page beside the workflows they demonstrate. They show live FieldLine interfaces with synthetic demonstration records. The native Android sign-in capture is identified separately from the phone-sized browser views.

Does FieldLine replace accounting or payroll?

FieldLine supports operational time, expense, commitment and project-budget reporting, with defined accounting access and exports. It does not provide a complete general ledger, payroll-tax calculation or payment execution system.

Can our company branding be included?

Company name, logo, colours and support details can be configured in the delivered experience. Company theme also feeds document templates and PDF presentation. Additional design and customization are defined in the written scope.
